I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
